The aim of International Council for Archaeozoology (ICAZ) working groups is to bring together people with similar zooarchaeological interests in a liberal exchange of ideas. Although a requisite number of group members have to be members of ICAZ for the group to be recognised, membership is not restricted to ICAZ members.
The Archaeomalacology Working Group recognises the benefits of diversity and inclusiveness, and thus welcomes those who have an interest in any aspect of archaeomalacology and who would like to become a member. If you have further enquiries, please contact
Daniella Bar-Yosef Mayer (AMWG Coordinator and ICAZ liaison)
If you would like to become a member, please fill out the ‘questions’ form below and return by e-mail to Kat Szabó. Your e-mail will be added to our mailing list so you can receive updates on happenings within the archaeomalacological community, and details of your interests and publications (if applicable) will be integrated into this website.
